Get the look of Ina Garten's gorgeous breakfast nook — for a whole lot less - chof 360 news

It's no secret that Ina Garten has impeccable taste — and not just when it comes to food. Over the years, the cookbook author and Food Network star has shared photos of her East Hampton, N.Y., kitchen, which looks just as lovely as you might imagine, with warm gray cabinets and windows that bathe the space in light. Recently, Ina posted that she's back at work testing recipes for a new cookbook. That alone is a reason to get excited, but even better, she shared a video of her breakfast nook and it turns out that a lot of the furniture and decor is extremely shoppable! (Click to the fourth slide in the post below to see for yourself.)

While some of the pieces in Ina's breakfast nook are vintage, I unearthed impressive lookalikes starting at just $10, so you, too, can create a dining area worthy of a culinary goddess. The best part about these dishes, tables, chairs and other finds — besides the price — is that they have classic shapes and come in neutral colors, so they'll stand the test of time. They'd also fit with pretty much any design style, from farmhouse to modern. How fabulous is that?!

Pssst, for more Barefoot Contessa-approved essentials, here are her favorite wine glasses, cast iron pan and knife sharpener.

Ina always serves her meals on white plates. "The plate is really about what makes the food look best, and I like it set against a white background. I never like plates that have patterns on them," she told CNN Underscored.

The ones on her table have a fluted rim, which gives them a bit of interest and playfulness — don't they look like the nicest "paper" plates you've ever seen? This glossy porcelain set has a similar vibe.

If you look closely you'll see that Ina, genius that she is, followed the old decorator's trick of tossing a sheepskin over one of her dining chairs. This adds softness and a bit of cushion to a hard seat — plus it looks ultra cozy.

Joss & Main

Ina told Food Network Magazine that she scored her fixture from Louis Poulsen, a famous Danish lighting company, on 1stDibs. (You can buy similar pendants new directly from the brand, but they'll run you upwards of $900.)

This version has a similar layered design, is dimmable — and costs under $140. Win, win, win!

Wayfair

Known as a tulip table for its slender, curved base, this design is a mid-century-modern classic that you'll see in nearly every style house nowadays. This version has a sturdy iron base and a manufactured wood top in a rich ebony finish that's a close match to Ina's.
